I believe if I take the time daily to recognize what I am grateful for, it will force me to pay attention to the good things in my life that I might otherwise take for granted. As Dave states (I paraphrase) you can’t spin out of control stressing about things when something good happened today. In that way, I know I will start to become more attuned to the everyday sources of pleasure around me — and the emotional tone of my life will shift in profound ways
